Adjuster meet on roof
Tyrone (our insurance liaison) meets the Allstate field adjuster on the roof. Walks every slope with photo evidence. Adjuster agrees to full-scope replacement; homeowner pays only the IR-upgrade differential.
Materials delivered, site prep
GAF AS II shingles, underlayment, I&W shield, ridge vent, and 24-gauge flashings delivered. Landscaping tarped, driveway protected, dumpster placed.
Tear-off + dry-in
10-person crew on site at 6:30 AM. Full single-layer tear-off by noon. 240 sq ft of soft decking discovered + replaced (line-item, pre-quoted). Full dry-in (I&W + synthetic underlayment) by 6 PM.
Install + final walk
Shingles installed in the 6-nail high-wind pattern. Ridge vent and flashings complete by 4 PM. Magnetic sweep for nails (twice). Final walk with homeowner, sign-off, warranty packets delivered.

On Rutherford County roofs in the hail belt, the Class 4 IR upgrade pays back in 5–8 years through carrier premium discounts. Insurance usually covers the upgrade differential after a hail claim — but only if your contractor knows how to document and ask for it.
