Indian Lake
Lakefront — extended I&W shield mandatory on north-facing slopes.
Service area · Sumner County
Indian Lake, Bluegrass, the older neighborhoods around Old Hickory Lake, and the post-2010 builds out toward Long Hollow — 340+ Hendersonville roofs since 2003. Sumner County storms can be brutal — we tarp first, document second, replace fast.
Storm posture
Hail Zone 3 · Wind 110 mph design speed · ASCE 7-22
Hendersonville's lakefront exposure on Old Hickory Lake means high humidity year-round and aggressive moisture cycling at the eaves. Ice dams form on the north-facing slopes of older Sumner County homes during the 2–3 hard freezes per winter — we extend I&W shield up the slope further than the standard spec.
Our default Hendersonville spec is GAF Timberline HDZ with the StainGuard Plus algae cap (lakefront humidity grows algae on cheaper caps within 5 years). On lakeside homes, we run a full I&W shield up the first 6 feet of the deck instead of the standard 3 feet to prevent ice-dam back-up.
Lakefront — extended I&W shield mandatory on north-facing slopes.
1970s ranch builds — usually need 50–100 sq ft of deck repair on the first replacement.
Post-2010 new builds — typical first-replacement timing approaching now.
Older lakefront cottages — many have skipped intermediate replacements, going from original 1965 cedar shake straight to architectural asphalt.

We don’t pay for reviews and we don’t buy leads. These are Middle TN homeowners whose roofs we’ve put hands on in the last 90 days. Full Google reviews linked from each.
Hail took out half my roof in the March storm. Ironclad had a tarp on it the same afternoon and walked the adjuster through every shingle. Full scope, zero out-of-pocket beyond my deductible. Roof was done in two days.

Got three estimates. The other two said 'full replacement, $22k.' Tyrone climbed up, took twenty photos, and said the soft spot was a single sheet of decking. $850 repair. Honest people are rare.

Used Ironclad for our last house in Brentwood and they were the first call when we bought the new one. Derek remembered my name eight years later. That's not customer service — that's how a family business runs.
